The enthusiastic Australian "Crocodile Hunter" died on Monday after being attacked by a stingray.
Au revoir Steve-o. I hope there are plenty of creatures for you to wrangle in heaven.

Heaven? You mean if he makes it across the River Styx, which I hear has been filled with pissed off Crocodiles from years gone by...seriously though, what an odd way to go; and what an odd man.

You think it’s weird? Try being here in Australia. There was a TV special that went for an hour in honour of him hosted by some looser morning news presenters. AND the state government is going to hold a state funeral for him. I know that he does have a quite a bit of fame for his work with ‘Australia Zoo’ and his conservation work, but I am a little amazed with response to his death. People everywhere were talking about it and it went around my office like wildfire. I dunno, I think I am kinda missing something too…
I agree. I am sorry for his family. He was a nice man who did good work but so is your everyday urologist. He was a TV personality, he didn't cure ball cancer. Now, he's dead. Would the world weep for Jeff Corwin too?
I will never understand this mob mentality of people getting so upset over someone croaking. Princess Diana had a tragic death and it was awful. But, I didn't know her. She wasn't in my immediate family. Yet, the entire world mourned for days. Get a life people!
