Rob Lindley told me about this clip. And I agree with him wholeheartedly when he says the writer of this bit should be fired. But it is still a treat to see these two together.
I love how their wigs look like they were purchased at a costume shop. Whoa Babes!

actually, i think the idea is hysterical - but the direction is missing. and so is the laugh track.
the hair, however, is a train wreck.
why would cher's stylist go with that wig?

It was tacky, but they were brilliant nevertheless.

I think that y'all should do a nice little iturds video remake of this puppy.
That made me feel physically ill. All throughout I wanted to turn it off but I couldn't wait to see if it could get any worse. I felt embarassed just watching it. Gross.

During the whole thing, all I kept thinking is, "God I love Dolly."
Sheesh. Seems like someone saw this then came up with Moulin Rouge.
