Dakota Fanning: 'It's called acting'
I (heart) this squirrel. She's one smart cookie. Now that all the hub-ba-bub has started over her 'rape' scene in "Houndstooth" she has some great little quotes:
"It's not really happening," Fanning said of a rape. "It's a movie, and it's called acting. I'm not going through anything."

Aww. I can't believe I'm defending her. I think she's far too precocious for her own good but she's a really talented little actress and, I think, likable...not to mention smart, as evidenced by her discussion on this movie and this scene. Go, Dakota!
I can't WAIT for her Oscar clip when she gets nominated a la J. Foster atops the pinball machine. The "li'l child victim helpless screams" will pervade the Shrine Auditorium. And yet, Judi Judi Judi Dench will still win for playing some British vixen with 2.4 minutes of screen time. Way, to go, Dame.
