I bought my Wii 3 weeks ago, and have since been enthralled with Zelda. The gamestop counter dude was trying to get me to pre-buy galaxy HARD. I told him I'd wait and see how I got along with my new Wii, since I was a re-new gamer, and the last console I actually owned was an Atari 2600. He shut up at that point, as we both realized that the Atari 2600 was made well before he was born. Little tyke.

Wii! Whee! I didn't pre-order but I am hoping to pick up a copy today. I hope I can find one.

chromatic - I had an Atari 2600 back in the day too. Hooray for us old folk. p.s. Call me and we can play Mario Party and have cocktails.

I am SO excited for SMG. We just had our TV mounted to the wall and need a new receiver so we can re-hook up the Wii. As for Atari, I had the 2600, 5200 and 800XL, which was a computer you hooked up to the TV. So I am a BIG old school video game nerdball.

Chromatic (or anyone else), have you gotten past the "protect the stagecoach" part in Zelda? I stopped playing it a few months ago because I feel like I need another arm to work all the weapons!

anders - I did get through that part, and it was kind of a biotch and took me a couple of tries.

I got distracted and stopped playing just as I got to the 4th temple and haven't played for months. I should fire it up and finish it.

Why is no one stating the obvious about this pic? It's the gayest damn gay thing what ever gayed its way across a gay ga(y)ming system.
If you squint, you can see the unicorn horn bursting out of his ass.

Is anyone else playing yet? So damn fun.

I stayed up way too late last night playing.

HMDWL surfing on a sting ray?!

Zelda stagecoach - come on guys, try harder. It takes a couple tries, but its not that hard. ;)

Oh you wii fanatics! I've got the 360, the machine with some balls! lol. Although if I ever choose to take estrogen pills and get breast implants I'm going straight to the store and getting my wii! lol.

To be honest as a little tike I loved to play the mario games. Maybe I'll get nostalgic and play again....

Seriously, I stayed up for hours one night and couldn't get past the stagecoach.

Robbie, I'll have you over for drinks sometime and you'll have to do it for me (honk-honk!).

It's either you or I'll have to get some 11 year-old boy to come over, but I don't want to go to jail.

Noah: Decided to give SMG a try yesterday. I was up till 2am. It's giving me vertigo but its awesome.

Sara: Betcher bottom dollar! BTW Sunnyvale Target had about 800 copies on the shelf.

Anders: OMG that's exactly where I am stuck right now too. So. Effing. Hard. I thought the stupid sumo wrestling bit was going to be the worst RSI offender (I had to squeeze the controller between me milky white thighs and smack the A button with two hands). I'm not even CLOSE to getting through that stage. And if that Jackee looking barmaid doesn't quit winking at me and telling me I'm "doing a great job, honey" I'll set her on fire.

Robbie: I guess I'm not drunk enough AKK! AKK AKKKK! ;)

I did get a copy on launch day but have only had time to play SMG once this week. Argh! Looking forward to sitting on the sofa this weekend in my soft pants.

p.s. If you like puzzles, Zack & Wiki:Quest for Barbaros' Treasure is pretty fun too!
