I know this is not in Haiku form but I have to rant.
Beyonce proved again that she has no class or soul last night at the Oscars. She didn't even clap for J-Hud when she won. She just made a pissy face every time the camera was on her.
Then, when they got up to sing, she tried WAY too hard to upstage J-Hud and when J-Hud fought back, she got all pissy.
Then, the third girl came out and tried to blow both of them away.
It was a disgusting display of poor character on all three of their parts.
I agree that something was "off" even though I still enjoyed it......though I have to say that Beyonce's shallow attempt at upstaging Jennifer Hudson was the wrong move, because frankly, Hudson's voice blows her away. Beyonce has to use every muscle in her body to even compare to what Hudson can do with no effort at all. The third girl was just annoying.
was i the only one watching? shit, beyonce looked really happy for j hud when she won the oscar. also, i seriously thought the performance was AMAZING. the spontaneous harmonies and taking turns on all each others songs...it seemed like they were all having so much fun up there!
and anika fucking wailed that high note. i thought it was brilliant. and i'm not one of those gays that thinks anything musical theater is automatically fantastic.

if a movie can have a "jump the shark" moment, then last night's "dreamgirls" performance at the oscars was it.
there was something so fake and flat about their performances on the show. and not enought anika noni rose.

here is something positive -- beyonce looked pretty.
you thought she looked pretty? her hair was the worst weave i've ever seen. i'd expected better from her mom.
