She was heaven-sent in this skit.
Although I thought the bandleader was pretty funny, overall I was really disapointed in this skit. If the SNL writers had any real balls they would have gone after the idiots attacking Dakota and her family over Hounddog, rather than simply take cheap shots at Dakota and Abigail. The skit was also woefully unresearched, as Dakota has done VO work for Family Guy and has mentioned in several interviews that she's a big Harry Potter fan. Also, her mother's name is Joy.
Smart comedy requires smart writing.

we can all agree that the Donatella Versace bit sucked ass. That skit writes itself and they still muffed it up.
