Prop 8 passing is indeed a sad event - but I'm still clinging to hope for everyone's future including those of LGBT couples. I hardly think we're sitting in the back of the bus. We've got a great president elect - the color of his skin makes it historic - his character makes it exciting. So I think we were ready for a great president.
This whole nation isn't going to change overnight - maybe going back and listening to Barack's speech last night will give you some perspective and hope? This is just the beginning.

Yeah, but Prop 8 passed.
I guess we're ready for a black president, but gays have to sit at the back of the bus.

Personally, I prefer the back of the bus. The driver can't see you while you're getting a handy from that latin boy from the bakery on the DL...
