Cher Believes in (Muddy) Helmets
I just found out about this a moment ago:
The 60-year-old Oscar-winning entertainer will appear Thursday before the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Tactical Air and Land Forces with Dr Bob Meaders, the founder of Operation Helmet, a nonprofit group that supplies helmet upgrade kits [to American soldiers in Iraq].
