First 9 to 5, and now this. The Academy can shove it.
I noticed 3 things.
1) Yes, she looks a little like the Crypt Keeper. But she's like 900 now, so give her a break.
2) She was so gracious and wonderful when those rap guys won. Like genuinely happy for them. Dolly I love you.
3) She didn't need any booty ladies shaking their asses or cars on fire (what the fuck was that for anyways?). It was just her. On stage. And she completely stole the show.

I wholeheartedly agree. The song was great. But what was even better was her performance. God, she is so mesmerizing. There was not one person in that audience who was not transfixed by her.
And she looks like the corpse bride. (that is noah's joke, but i am stealing it)
Yeah. I love Dolly a ton. But, I loved It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp a ton more. That wasn't Dolly's best song in my opinion.
i agree, i thought she was fantastic....she has so much talent and charisma. i really wanted her to win.
She was fabulous. Loved her pants suit, loved her wig, loved her tight face, loved it all.
OMG!!!! You guys are so right...she needed nothing but her over the top body and her voice....and no stage props. Even my hubby, who hates country music and dolly even more thought her performance was the best. Dolly love the dress, the pant suit...and okay I love you hard!
I have always known she was a real person as far as speaking her mind about things, and about herself and to see how gracious she was when they announced the rap group as the winners made me like her more but I still wish she would have flipped the camera off or something ;)
Yeah, love the Dolls too. No stage props necessary and the song held its own. Ms. Doralee Rhodes, Jews complete Cheese.
And as for the "Pimp" shit sammy that took the Oscar, I'm having a hard time deciphering the final note that ghetto bitch hit during the song's performance. I really don't think that note even exists.
That win made me pee with anger. And what WAS that language spoken during the acceptance speech? I got hives on m' privvies just thinking about it.
I have to admit I didn't udnerstand one word in the exceptance speech to even warrant censoring the one swear out
I also LOVE Dolly and totally agree with everything Pat and Noah said. She was so robbed--and I really wanted to titty fuck her!
